# Halloween Event ***Impornant notice**: Apple is not involved in any way with the event and is not a sponsor.* **Trick or Treat?** - the seasonal **Halloween-themed event** in Walken. **Dates: October 13, 12:00 UTC - October 20, 12:00 UTC** Total lootbox pool: **1300**; Participation price: **1000 candies**; ***Spooky lootbox price: 1200 $WLKN or 2 SOL*** No zombies or ghosts, rather the good old *trick-or-treat vibe*! ## Event Details ***Starting October 13*** , each **victory** in competitions will earn you a certain amount of **candies**. This amount depends on the League in which you compete. Check the illustrative table below that shows the *amount of candies* given for winning in a particular *League*:

🟠 Each victory will be earning players **candies** on top of their WLKN rewards; 🟠 Compete, win, and collect candies every day until the end of the event and once you have **1000 candies**, exchange them for a **chance to purchase** a very special Lootbox (***please note that the token amount equal to the price of the Halloween box is required to be on your balance in order to apply***). ***Spooky lootbox price: 1200 $WLKN or 2 SOL*** 🟠 Inside each lootbox there is one **Halloween-themed** limited-edition **item of clothing** for your CAThlete to throw on its *spookiest fit* when Halloween arrives! Halloween-themed items edition is **very** **exclusive** - 1300 pieces only! **The rarity drop chances for these lootboxes are the same as for Premium-lootboxes.** 🟠 Be sure to ***apply*** for the Spooky lootbox lottery **until October 20, 11:59 UTC.** The **list of the winners** will be published in the official social channels **within 24h from** the end of the event. The **distribution** of the spooky lootboxes will **start on October 21, 12:00 UTC** and be completed by the end of the day. 🟠 **TOP-300 players** with the **highest candy score** by the end of the event are ***guaranteed*** to get one lootbox per player ***for free.***** Another 1000 lootboxes** will be distributed among participants and the lucky winners will be able to **buy** it. ## How to Participate? Once the event has started, you will find the **Halloween Event banner** at the bottom of the Wallet screen. Please note that the banner will not be there until October 13, 12:00 UTC!

Tap it to view *event details*, check your ***current candy score*** and how much *time* is left until the event ends. There you'll also find the **apply button** to take part in the spooky Lootbox draw once you've collected enough candies.

Your candies are counted over the whole event period and *not deducted* from your candy score when you apply for the Spooky Lottery so that you could still see how many candies you've collected.

Once the event has ended, the candies will no longer be given as rewards in competitions and the Halloween Event **banner will be removed** from the Wallet screen. The **list of the winners** will be published within 24h from the end of the event in our official channels, and the spooky lootbox **distribution** will start on the next day. ***Important note**: there’s a **limited number** of Halloween Lootboxes - 1300 boxes in total, 300 are allocated for the TOP players with the highest candy score. So it is **not guaranteed** to all participants. After the event ends, the Lootboxes will be distributed randomly and will automatically go to your **Collectibles --> Lootboxes** in case you win.
